December 2018 Newsletter - "Is There a Second Coming?" by Pastor Juanita Bequeath
I recently heard that the Jewish people reject the idea of two comings of Messiah. They say that the Messiah is supposed to come once and progressively bring about a utopian world where everyone starts coming into alignment with God’s purposes.
They are absolutely correct, but there is more to it. You cannot understand this unless you start thinking spiritually instead of carnally. The Christian Church has been wrong in their thinking. If you only think of a carnal/historical/natural Jesus, then yes you will miss the plan and only see the first coming. By the time you realize that the second coming is in a group of people, you will have already missed it.
The principle of the double is that God gives us a seed, but it is up to us to plant it and have it grow. That seed is the Word of God. That seed is the parable of God that was given so that we can come back into life. When Yeshua/Jesus came, he showed us the spiritual meaning of the Parable Word, because he was the first to fulfill it. He was the first to start growing it. He was Messiah, because he was the only one that was given by God a spiritual nature (sinless son of YHVH) that could open up the seed. The spiritual nature of Adam died with Adam’s sin. It took a second Adam (son of God) to open up the seed so we can go through.
It is the principle of Yibum, the 128th mitzvah. When a brother (spirit man) dies, in order for the wife (soul) of that man to stay connected to the family, an older brother will marry her and raise up a son (another spiritual nature) within her. In that way she is reconnected with the family. In this case, the family is God’s family – which is spiritual.
Mitzvah 128. To do Yibbum (marry childless brother's widow).
Deuteronomy 25:5-6 KJV (5) If brethren dwell together, and one of them die, and have no child, the wife of the dead shall not marry without unto a stranger: her husband's brother shall go in unto her, and take her to him to wife, and perform the duty of an husband's brother unto her. (6) And it shall be, that the firstborn which she beareth shall succeed in the name of his brother which is dead, that his name be not put out of Israel.
Yeshua said, “They that worship him must worship him in Spirit and in Truth,” (John 4:24). The Spirit is the Ruach ha Kodesh or Holy Spirit. Truth is the Word of Yah. That is how the seed starts growing. After his resurrection, Yeshua sent His Spirit to those of us that receive him, so the Seed Word can open up within us as we study the Word. That is why He is the Word. When you open it up and get the spiritual meaning, you see that it is all Him. It is about Him, and it is HIM.
Acts 17:24-30 KJV (24) God that made the world and all things therein, seeing that he is Lord of heaven and earth, dwelleth not in temples made with hands; (25) Neither is worshipped with men's hands, as though he needed any thing, seeing he giveth to all life, and breath, and all things;(26) And hath made of one blood all nations of men for to dwell on all the face of the earth, and hath determined the times before appointed, and the bounds of their habitation;(27) That they should seek the Lord, if haply they might feel after him, and find him, though he be not far from every one of us:(28) For in him we live, and move, and have our being; as certain also of your own poets have said, For we are also his offspring. (29) Forasmuch then as we are the offspring of God, we ought not to think that the Godhead is like unto gold, or silver, or stone, graven by art and man's device. (30) And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent:
The first coming of Messiah was known as Messiach ben Joseph. Why? Because everything that occurred in the life of Joseph was symbolic of what Yeshua did. Joseph was rejected by his brothers, thrown into a pit (sheol) and turned over to the Gentiles/Egypt, falsely accused, thrown into a pit again (sheol) by the Gentiles, interpreted dreams, raised (resurrected) to the right hand of Pharaoh (which means “great house” - who this time only represents the Father), and given a new name: Zaphenath Paneah which means revealer of secrets. He was then given a Gentile wife, and through his plan, the whole world was saved from their famine.
The famine was for the TRUE Word of Yah. Yeshua came once. Just like in the story of Joseph when he resurrected, He never left. He just went into the Spirit realm. He is here now, ready to open up that Seed Word within each one of us. He said he came to kindle a fire, and he can’t wait until it blazes. That fire is the mysteries of God; it is finding HIM in the Word.
Luke 12:49 "I came to send fire on the earth, and how I wish it were already kindled!”
The fallacy in the thinking of both the Jewish people and the Gentile church is in what they believe the Messiah is to do. The Messiah is sent to reunite us with God. God is not in this realm. God is spiritual. Let me put it this way. Adam, the Garden of Eden, and the Tree of Life are all spiritual! They are so spiritual that they have substance – but it is not this corruptible flesh, this beastly nature that came upon us after the fall. The substance is the Glory realm. It is the Kingdom that Yeshua came to restore. The Messiah is to restore us to better than Adam before the fall. The Messiah came to heal the breach. He is doing so by revealing the Mysteries of his Word. His first coming is the mystery. His “second coming” is not him leaving and coming back, but it is his appearing IN US.
Colossians 1:26-28 (26) the mystery which has been hidden from ages and from generations, but now has been revealed to His saints. (27) To them God willed to make known what are the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles: which is Christ in you, the hope of glory. (28) Him we preach, warning every man and teaching every man in all wisdom, that we may present every man perfect in Christ Jesus.
I never finished telling the rest of the story of Joseph – the story of his brothers, or the story of why Simeon was taken, or why they had to bring Benjamin. There are also two other Messiahs: Messiach ben Manasseh and Messiach ben Ephraim. Both were sons of Joseph. Who are they and who do they represent? I hope you will ask the Holy Spirit to reveal it to you, I want to leave the corners of the field for the poor, so that you can become rich.
