June 2017 Newsletter - "Unity Through Yahweh's Feasts" by Pastor Brad Nottingham

Greetings Saints,

Thank you HEAVENLY FATHER, YAHSHUA, and HOLY SPIRIT for Your divine design, Your divine creation, and Your divine guidance. We ask You to purify our heart, mind, and soul so that we can receive the glory that You have designed for us. We ask You to prepare us for this season and to continue to teach us as You gather and build Your chosen remnant on Your earth. We thank you for the release of Your spiritual riches and natural riches bestowed on Your earth. Use us for Your desire as we desire to be with You. We declare this and decree this in YAHSHUA’S mighty name, AMEN.

The season of Passover has ended, and we are now stepping into Shavuot, the biblical time when our Jewish forefathers spent the first night staying awake to read the Torah. Here is the definition of Shavuot from the Jewish website, www.myjewishlearning.com/article/shavuot-101.

Shavuot , the “Feast of Weeks,” is celebrated seven weeks after Passover (Pesach). Since the counting of this period (sefirat ha-omer) begins on the second evening of Passover, Shavuot takes place exactly 50 days after the (first) seder. Hence, following the Greek word for “fifty,” Shavuot is also referred to sometimes as Pentecost. Although its origins are to be found in an ancient grain harvest festival, Shavuot has been identified since biblical times with the giving of the Torah on Mount Sinai.

Shavuot History
Shavuot combines two major religious observances. First is the grain harvest of the early summer. Second is the giving of the Torah on Mount Sinai seven weeks after the exodus from Egypt. The first determines the ritual for the holiday, which was one of the three pilgrimage festivals of ancient Israel, when Israelite males were commanded to appear before God in Jerusalem, bringing offerings of the first fruits of their harvest. The second determines the significance of the holiday for Judaism, tying it in with the seminal event of Jewish religious memory, namely the entering into a covenant between God and Israel, exemplified by Israel’s assumption of Divine law.

The LORD stated in Exodus 19:5:
Now therefore, if you will indeed obey My voice and keep My covenant, then you shall be a special treasure to Me above all people; for all the earth is Mine.

We are praising our HEAVENLY FATHER as we see HIM gathering different churches, in the Los Angeles community. We just had a conference in Torrance with Pastor Rudy Esqueda, who is the head pastor of World Ministry United by the Cross. It was a powerful 3-day event with supernatural manifestations occurring every day of the conference during worship, prayer, and especially during the release of the mysteries revealed by Pastor Michael Petro.

We are continuing to have meetings in Los Angeles with Pastor Davin Chun at Kingdom Builders Ministries. The meetings here get more intense as we go more in depth the hidden mysteries of the Word, who is YAHSHUA, our KING and SAVIOUR.

This is a season of gathering and building, because the LORD is building His remnant army. As the body of Christ, we prepare ourselves for this gathering and building through our study and worship.

Awareness of these times comes through studying the Torah, the HOLY SCRIPTURES, and this understanding is given to the body of Christ so that we can gather together in one mind and in one accord, in Christ.

YAHSHUA says in Revelation 2:4-5, Nevertheless I have somewhat against thee, because thou hast left thy first love. 5 Remember therefore from whence thou art fallen, and repent, and do the first works; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will remove thy candlestick out of his place, except thou repent.

Our first love is for the love of the truth, the Word, the revelation and revealing of the hidden mysteries that the church once knew as one body and one mind coming together. We at Forerunner have also been studying through the teachings of the Ante-Nicene Fathers, who are considered to be the Early Church Fathers during the first 325 years after Christ. They are teaching us how important it is to be serious in our study, our understanding, our walk.

We invite you to join our studies through the Early Church Fathers every Thursday evening at 7pm PST. We would also like to encourage you to dig deeper into the Torah and mitzvot (God’s commandments) with us every Wednesday morning at 9am PST and evening at 7pm PST. These meetings are in Hesperia, CA, but if you are not able to visit in person, please LiveStream with us on our website at www.ForerunnerTV.com/livestream.  For more meeting times, visit www.ForerunnerTV.com/meetings-and-events.

Saints, have a wonderful day being the blessings you have been created to be.
