Hebrew Word of the Month:

'Chanukkah' 12/7/15

Greetings Saints, Deu 22:9,11 (9) Thou shalt not sow thy vineyard with divers seeds: lest the fruit of thy seed which thou hast sown, and the fruit of thy vineyard, be defiled. (11) Thou shalt not wear a garment of divers sorts, as of woollen and linen together.

We are currently in Hanukkah. The word Hanukkah comes from the Hebrew word “Hanuk” which means “to dedicate”.  It is all about cleansing the Temple of our bodies from the Hellenistic or Greek mindset.  Although different trains of thought have evolved, the Greek mindset was the “spirit of antichrist which was already with us”, in 1 John 4:3. It is a mindset that changes everything from the way YHVH first intended it.  It changes our thinking to the opposite.  True thought is then changed from functional to abstract.  Original thought in the Hebrew language reads right to left, Greek reads left to right.  The sun circles right to left, yet clocks are made to turn left to right.  Although these things seem of little significance, they are only small manifestations of twisting the ways of God. They are characteristic of a mindset that wants to change all of God’s ways.  It’s a mindset that seeks to contaminate, pervert and twist truth.

Verse 9 above tells us not to sow two different seeds in our vineyard.  This is not talking about planting pumpkins in our corn patch. When God separated the light from darkness in Genesis 1:4, he was actually demonstrating that the first steps we have to take in our spiritual growth is to be able to separate good word from bad word.  When we are not aware of this difference, it causes defilement and it is the same as the lukewarm mixture in Rev. 3:16.

In studying the history of the holidays we've become accustomed to celebrating, we will find that Christmas is, in fact, not a Christian holiday. Christmas isn't biblical and was never celebrated by the Apostles and our Early Church Fathers.  We will note that it’s actually a deception adopted into our traditions through mixture with paganism. These facts can easily be found, and in searching you will see Yehoshua wasn't born on this day.  What we have incorporated into this celebration are symbols used in conjuring and welcoming false deities.  This holiday is set up on the birth of multiple evil rulers like Nimrod and his son, men who became idols in pagan worship. This is truth unveiled.

As we untwist our mindsets and embrace truth in this season, we can achieve great freedom in honoring Yehoshua and what He desires for our lives. Many Christians often know these facts to be true and still justify the actions by saying it’s not celebrated as such.  We rationalize that the honoring of Yeshua is in talking about him, defending him, singing, having programs about him, and giving gifts.  If we are honest with ourselves we’ll see the compromise and mixture we've bought into. When we compromise, it prevents us from coming into the fullness of what God has for us as we seek to mature.

So, let’s be encouraged to study Hanukkah.  See the true story of how a small group of Jews stood up against Hellenisic/Greek mixture and prevailed.  Because of their passion and sacrifice, a miracle of lights occurred.  If you dig even further, you will find that during this actual Feast of Dedication and Lights, Yehoshua was conceived within Mary.  And… you will see how when we cleanse our temple/our spiritual bodies, Yehoshua will also be born in us as well.

Shalom Blessings,

Events & Updates: Line in the Sand 2015!

A Line in the Sand took place this past November 29th at the Anaheim Convention Center. This prayer meeting was hosted by an amazing conglomerate of Korean churches. Corporately it was a inter-ethnic prayer gathering. It was a day of prayer, fasting, intercession, and repentance for our country. There were leaders within the five-fold and also within the political realm in attendance. Among them was Apostle Michael Petro. He released a righteous prayer and prophetic declaration to the body as we collectively press in to new beginnings!

Shalom Blessings,
